if i could stop time
and freeze these moments
(a bit of forever)
a memory of what we once had
made bittersweet
by circumstance
and yet we hold
to these moments
fingers grasping
(clasping)
at these fragments of hope
wishing to turn back the clock
three weeks
four weeks
to a time when everything was perfect
but these moments
are a constant reminder
(forever held here in my mind)
of what we had
and what could be
holding onto this hope
and dream of things to come

Quite a moving piece. Like the flow of the words and how they seem to sway and turn me around and around as if I could live the moment over and over... yet love does not know time.
