in the darkness
     of the month of dreams
i set out to see america
a homeless man named misery
     with beaten cup
           his broken dreams and dimes

crashing orphan shores
     and empty streets
           awash with blood and foam
the suburban stockade widows
     broad-shouldered faceless
           weaned from feeling and reality

i set out to see america
the blind leading the blind
     on a road to forever
           with red-tipped canes and prejudice
mechanical timecard workmen
     white-collar separation
           on the lines of black and white

i set
i sleep alone

so...
the blood reckoning asked me to do a shirt design with the following in mind.

"make it like the HoneyComb monster, but with our metal logo for teeth"

so...
then this is what happened.
well... this was what was SUPPOSED to happen.
i drew a couple versions. didn't like them.
called in my GF and she drew a good rough... and then i did the rest.
it's getting printed soon. i think.

not exactly sure.
did about 8 different colour variations to see which one they wanted. turns out... instead of the original purple and green... they went with blue.

it's a three colour print. i'd hate to be the screen guy though... a decent amount of half-toning going on.

thank you... that took a long time to do.
my GF gave me a good framework to work with though...
then it's a lot of varied halftoning and such.
i'm curious to see it printed.
