beneath this glass encasement

i wake
       to find myself
beneath this glass encasement
handing out these memories
       (like movie tickets)
with a side-order of regret
and a slice of sorrow
       (To Go, please)
peeling back
       the innocent smiles
revealing
       the ghastly visage
of a lifetime of hidden pain

come
join me in this
       invisible prison
with the skeletal remains of hope

come
help me
       passing out these memories
       this regret

well everybody...here's another poem that is open to interpretation...if you so wish....this is what happens when you make yourself write poetry, but are unsure of what to write about...but hopefully that will change with time... ;) (Wink)

(ps... i dropped the last part...it really didn't fit very well at all....)

what an incredible way to word this- I have been trying to figure out my feeling and this really captures how it has been for me lately- beautiful work!
