i can hear it in my head
rising and falling
crescendo
accelerando
quickening and slowing
the strings picking at my heart
with each bending tone
and i sing along with the melody of time
this dirge of regret
ringing with pain
striking the chord
and making me remember
each painful note
bleeding through
filling my thoughts with visions of yesterday
each downbeat a deathknell
resounding deep inside this hollow frame
no way to stop these feelings
this rising flood of sound that builds within my brain
bringing back the memories
the hopes
the dreams
in one rush of emotion
and i can hear it in my head
rising and falling
unstopping
each crescendo bringing me closer to the edge
as the music builds
a symphony of chaotic wonder

i like this for the imagery of music/words, esp. for capturing that feeling of a song you can't seem to escape from...
this is weird, but your pic. looks so much like my bf (spunefed) and your names are so similar, i'm not entirely convinced you are different people. ? maybe that's just me.
