this is my first deviation in over a year, and hopefully i'll remember to put one up every day until i run out of this series.
it's an ongoing photo study of accidental deaths... but not in a grotesque way... i like to maintain an air of mystery to each of these pictures... (my photo teacher hated that... but... i like the viewer to make up what happened.) and so... i give you... this is a selfish self-awareness : chapter one suffocation by mic chord more to come soon enough... [edit] so.. i forgot to add anything else in about this picture. 1. it's me. just to clear that up. i set up the lighting and the angle and what-not.. but in the end... didn't actually click the shutter. 2. this is digital. i don't normally shoot digital...but... this was a test shot... and i liked it so much that i ended up editing it... there is a later version that is film.  I like the overall dominating dark tones, the expression on your face, and the shadows your body casts. The texture of the carpet provides good intrigue. Interesting angle. Very dynamic.

--  Sister Marie the Pigtailed Pirate  I have to agree with elpha, the mystery is great. I love the dark tone of the picture and how your blue eyes pop while still looking hauntingly dead.
